Previous: Understand and protect

Why is the price of the TTC $149.90?
On the OLED Switch, we make a DAT0 connectivity welded directly on the internal track of the mother card, according to the so-called "kamikaze point" method. This microscope microscope intervention is more complex than on V1/V2 and does not rely on a DAT0 adapterined by pressure.
Direct connection, to avoid false contacts related to the movement of an adapter. The package includes precision work on the DAT0 point, insulation and maintenance of the assembly, console maintenance and controls before/after intervention.
This technique changes the mother card permanently and requires great control: an error can damage it. We explain the intervention before support. A welded connection does not guarantee an unlimited life; the price alone does not allow to judge the quality of another workshop.
A quick response, not an urgent response.
A pose does not summarize to the few welding points visible on a photo. The dismantling, maintenance, controls and rebound take time. We chose to integrate them into the service: the price pays this work, the tools and the tracking by our workshop.
To compare offers, ask what they include: maintenance, testing, traceability, accompaniment and support conditions. A price alone does not allow you to judge the quality of a job. Our commitment is to explain exactly what we do on your console, without promising zero risk.

The package concerns the position on a compatible console, not the repair of all failures.
The accompanying uses are homebrews and permitted customization. No hacked game is provided. A modified console involves material risks and restrictions on online services: we will explain them before intervention.

The questions we are asked most often
Are all Nintendo Switch compatible with Picofly?
No. HAC-001 Switch (an old revisions, until mid-2018) are vulnerable to RCM hack and do not need modchip. The HAC-001-01 (patch) and OLED Switch require a Picofly modchip.
Are my backups preserved?
A hardware repair does not guarantee the storage of data alone. If the device remains accessible, keep a backup before deposit and indicate the priority files or backups. If storage is failed or inaccessible, the possibility of recovery must be examined separately; no recovery can be promised before review.
How long does the installation take?
The operation itself takes about half a day (preparation, welding, closing, tests). If you send the console from another city, count 5 to 7 days in all (reception + intervention + return).
Do you accept the shipment from all over France?
Yes, this is an important part of our Picofly activity. You send us the console in Recommended Colissimo, we intervene within 48-72h after receipt and we will return to you in follow-up.
What are the risks of a Picofly installation?
With a competent workshop: very low risk. with an amateur: drawn pads, cut tracks, dead console. That’s why many send us their Switch after a failed personal trial.
Can I disinstall the Picofly later?
Technically yes, but this is a second welding intervention. As long as you keep the console in OEM mode, its official operation is not disturbed.
How much does the Picofly Poses cost on Switch V1/V2?
The Picofly position on the Switch V1 / V2 costs €49.90 TTC, console maintenance and controls included. Shipping and return fees are on the customer's charge. The microSD is provided by the customer. An eventual prior repair requires a written estimate and your consent.
